More North Americans Visit China More and more Canadians are traveling to China ¨C the number increased by 10% during the first seven months of 2002 over that of the same period the previous year. In 2000, a total of 253,800 Canadians went to China for business, pleasure, or a combination of both. Where did they go once they arrive in country? Beijing, Shanghai, Xi¡¯an, and the Three Gorges of Yangtze River turn out to be top favorite destinations. Additionally, Kunming, Mt. Huangshan, and Dunghuan are becoming more and more popular.
