China Eastern Airlines to Open Shanghai-Vancouver Route China Eastern Airlines will begin to provide services between Shanghai and Vancouver on June 16, 2004. There will three round-trip flights a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The departure time in Shanghai is 16:30 and arrival time in Vancouver 12:15; for the return flight, the departure time in Vancouver is 14:15 and arrival time in Shanghai 17:20. China Eastern will service the route with Airbus A34-600, which the company recently added to its fleet. The Shanghai-Vancouver route is the second North-American route that China Eastern operates.
