Daily Flights from Rome to Hong Kong
By an agreement recently signed between Hong Kong and Italy, the number of flights between the two regions was increased from eight to ten every week. As part of this deal, two flights were added to the five from Rome to Hong Kong, making the flight between the two cities a daily event. In comparison, Singapore and cities in Japan and Taiwan have only three flights a week to Rome at most.
The news was announced by an official at Hong Kong’s Office of Economic Development and Labor. According to the official, Hong Kong is also in the process of securing more flight routes to Italy and may seek an increase in the number of flights to Milan.
The Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways currently flies from Rome to Hong Kong five times a week, with no flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Back to China Notes and News
