Virgin Atlantic Now Flies to Shanghai on a Daily Basis On December 5 British Airline Virgin Atlantic launched daily service between London and Shanghai. The flights depart from Heathrow Airport and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The airline has been operating five flights a week between Heathrow and Pudong till the recent expansion. According to the company, over 400,000 travelers have flied with Virgin Atlantic to and from China since 1999 when the airline began its Shanghai service. The airline already offers daily flights to Hong Kong and is said be considering adding flights to Beijing. Back to China Notes and News
