Cathay Pacific Will Launch Hong Kong-Moscow-Manchester Route
The Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific recently announced that starting March 27, 2006, the airline will fly a new route that links Hong Kong, Moscow and Manchester. There will be three flights every week (Monday, Thursday and Saturday) from Hong Kong to Moscow and further on to Manchester in England. With the addition of the new route, Cathay Pacific’s weekly flights between Hong and Moscow have increased to seven every week.
Founded in 1946, Cathay Pacific currently flies to 35 countries, with a total of 95 routes, including passenger services to five cities in Europe - four flights a day to London, daily flights to Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam, as well as five weekly services to Rome. Back to China Notes and News
