China Southern Resumes Flights to Africa China Southern Airlines has resumed flying to Lagos, Nigeria, after a suspension of fllights in the past one and a half month. The airline halted the service to Lagos at the end of June, after a strike of Nigerian workers dispruted fuel supply at the Nigerian airport. The passenger service to Lagos is the only route to the African continent operated by any Chinese airlines. The flight to Lagos departs from Beijing International Airport at 11:40 PM and arrives in Lagos at 11:10 AM local time. The return flight departs at 1:30 PM and arrives at Beijing International Airport at 1:30 PM. On both legs of the service there is a stop-over in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). China Southern is the world's 10th largest airline and currently operates over 80 international flight routes. Back to China Notes and News
