Q: Can you please tell me what the time schedule is for buses from Hong kong to Shenzen and on what days these buses run? Buses to Shantou?
| | A: We assume that by "Shenzen" you mean "Shenzhen." Shenzhen is very close to Hong Kong, just across the border. coaches depart from Hong Kong International Airport for Shenzhen every 30 minutes or so, from 7:00 in the morning to 9:00 in the evening. The buses make many different stops in Shenzhen. You should look into it to make sure you get off at the place the closest to your specific destination.
At least three companies operate coach services from Hong Kong International Airport (and other places in Hong Kong) to Shenzhen: China Travel Tours Transportation Services HK, Eternal East Cross-Border Management, and Trans-Island Limousine Service. Their phone numbers are respectively 2261-2472, 2261-0176, and 2261-0296 (add number for Hong Kong). Contact them for further information.
From Hong Kong International Airport to Shenzhen it is a ride of about an hour.
If you intend to change buses in Shenzhen to go to other cities, you should be able to find many buses immediately after you've gone through the Lo Wu (Luo Hu) Border Cross between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
As for bus service between Shantou and Hong Kong, the three coach companies mentioned above also offer bus services from Hong Kong to Shantou. Contact them for further information.
