Answer to One China Travel Question

Q: How far is Hankou from the airport and what transportation is available? Are there shuttles to the train or bus stations from the airport?. Does anyone speak English at the airport?

A: From Wuhan Tianhe International Airport it is one hour's ride to inner city. There are shuttles running, which take passengers to Hangkong Road, Changjiang Square and airport city-office in Hankou, as well as Wuchang Fujiapo Long Distance Bus Terminal. The shuttles run from six in the morning to seven in the evening.

There should be people who speak English at the airport, but shouldn't count on it. (There are usually people who want to get your accomocation business) The shuttle into the city only makes a few stops on its way, so it's hard to miss your stop, if that's what you're thinking about.
