Q: I have visa to visit japan and I would like to visit china on my way back to Pakistan. What is the process to get transit visa?

A: One can apply for a transit visa (G) through the cloest Chinese embassy/consulate in his country, the same way one applies for a tourist visa (L). A transit visa enables a traveler to stay in China for up to 7 days while a tourist visa provides up to 30 days.
