Answer to One China Travel Question

Q: I'm in Philippines now and I'm going to Shanghai soon as a tourist. What are the other documents I need to show in Pudong Airport except my passport and Visa? Are they asking any traveller's cheque or bank account?

A: A foreign citizen entering China will be asked to show his passport and visa. No financial documents are required. Visitors will be asked to fill out a customs form while on plane or after landing; they're supposed to declare anything that should be declared (for most passengers, it's just turning in the form). While going through immigratioin check point, there will be separate lines for Chinese citizens and foreign visitors.
