Q: How much are the entry fees for Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong? Are the tickets only good for one day? And what about Splendid China and Folk Culture Village in Shenzhen? Two days to cover these sites?

A: Entry fees for Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong were raised earlier this year. For Jiuzhaigou, during the months between April 1 and November 15 the entry fee is 220 Chinese dollars per adult, and you need to add 90 per adult for transportation within the scenic area. That's a total of 310 yuan. If a tourist wants to return to Jiuzhaigou the next day, he can so indicate at the time of purcasing his ticket and park personnel will stamp the ticket to that effect so that the tourist can return without paying the 220 entry fee again. The tourist still has to pay the 90 transportation fee. If a tourist wants to tour again on the third day, he needs to purchase gate ticket and pay the transportation fee. Entry fee and transportation fee during the off-season is 80 plus 80 for a total of 160 yuan.

Entry fee for Huanglong is 200 yuan during the peak season and 60 yuan during the off season.

Splendid China and Folk Culture Village in Shenzehn are next to each other. Entry fee for Splendid China is 120 yuan and for Folk Culture Village it is 90 yuan. You should be able to cover each of the the two sites in two or three hours. So it shouldn't take all that long.
