Q: Hi. I need to travel from Dongguan to Shenzen and back to Dongguan on the same day. What is the distance? What is the best way of travel and how much time?
A: Assuming you're referring to Dongguan, Guangdong Province, the city is just next to Shenzhen. If you can go by long distance buses, an one-way trip takes about 40 minutes or so. There are six long distance bus stations in Dongguan, and you should be able to find buses that go to Shenzhen at Dongguan Qiche Zong Zhan (Dongguan Long Distance Bus Central Station). There are also a dozen or so trains that travel between Dongguan and Shenzhen.
