Q: Is there an overnight sleeper bus from HK to Nanning? If so where do we get on?

A: We're not aware of long distance bus directly connecting Hong Kong with Nanning. If you want to travel by bus, you may have to go to Shenzhen first where you'll find buses destined to Nanning. It's a long ride, about 850 kilometers (530 miles).

You can do the same from Guangzhou. There are buses and trains that can take you to Shenzhen and Guangzhou - one and two hours' ride respectively. There are trains connecting Guangzhou to Nanning. The ride lasts about 12 hours.
