Answer to One China Travel Question

Q: I want to find a bus to take me from Zhanjiang to Nanning. Can you recommend a site where I can get a schedule and make a booking?

A: There are buses bound for Naning departing at Xiashan Bus Station, Chikan Bus Station and probably other bus stations too in Nanning. It is doubtful, however, that you can make a booking for one of these buses online. Normally you go to the station and buy tickets there. There are a few buses leaving for Nanning everyday. You can also travel from Zhanjiang to Nanning by train. Two trains leave in the morning and arrive about six hours later. You may be able to purchase a ticket for a soft berth or a soft seat.
