Q: Me and my girlfriend want to travel from Guilin to Haikou around spring festival but need to book tickets soon. Where can I find out about availability of bus-ferry tickets and accomadation at this busy time.
A: It's a good idea to make arrangments before hand for travel plans during the Spring Festival season. It's relatively easy to arrange hotel stays - online, by phone, etc. Unfortunately there is no easy and sure way for travelers to arrange bus or ferry tickets in advance. So there is some uncertainty there. You can try to work through a travel agency, or through the hotel you're staying and will be staying at - some hotels provide this service, for a little fee.
