Q: Can you please tell me the distance between Hong Kong (midlevels) and Shenzhen and how long it takes to travel between them?

A: It takes about an hour to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. The East Rail operated by Kowloon-Canton Railway goes from Hung Hom (in Kownloon, across the bay from Hong Kong island) to Lo Wu, which is one of the border check points of Shenzhen. There are services from about 5:00 in the morning to midnight.

You can also travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen by bus. China Tour Service operate some of these coaches. Boarding points in downtown Hong Kong, for instance, include Causeway Bay Hotel MetroPark, Wanchai CTS Branch and Sheung Wan CTS House.
