Q: Dear sirs, what would be an economical way to travel from Macau to Beijing?

A: You can either fly out of Macau (Air Macau) or take the express train that travel from Kowloon to Beijing. Flight time is about three hours. A round trip ticket for an adult is about 3,200 Chinese dollars; for a child, about 2,400 Chinese dollars. The Kowloon-Beijing train ride lasts about 27 hours, leaving 10:00 in the morning and arrive in Beijing around noon time next day. A soft berth on the train costs about HK$1,000. If you by train, you need to go from Macau to Kowloon, which can be done relatively easily.
