Q: I am looking into visiting Nanning and don't know what I would be required to obtain to be allowed into the country. I am a US citizen and it would be probably a 10 day visit. Do I need a visa and how do I obtain one?

A: You need to apply for a visa, either a tourist visa (30 days) or some other visa (such as a business visa). You can apply for a visa at a Chinese diplomatic/consular mission in your area.
