Q: What is the Distance between the following:
Xian and Chongqing; Chongqing and Yangtze River; Yangtze River and Suzhou;
Suzhou and Shanghai. Thank you.

A: The distance between Xian and Chongqing, by railway, is about 800 kilometers (500 miles). Chongqing is located on Yangtze River; it is the starting point of many Three Gorges cruises. Suzhou is just 80 kilometers (50 miles) away from Shanghai, and Shanghai is more or less on the Yangtze, except it is way down the river from Chongqing (over two thousand miles); it is located on the Chinese coast.
