Answer to One China Travel Question

Q: I plan to travel to Ningbo from either Indonesia city of Jakarta or from Singapore . hope u can help to advise me on what is the easiest / fastest way / or economical way to travel there. Thanks in advance.

A: There are flights between Singapore and Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, in which Ningbo is located. Hangzhou is 170 kilometers west of Ningbo and there are train and bus connections between the two cities.

You can fly to Hong Kong and then fly on to Ningbo. Or fly to Shanghai and then fly on to Ningbo. Shanghai is 370 kilometers away from Ningbo, linked by plane, train and bus.
