| | A: 1) You can try to find a buying agent online, but probably should not expect to finalize the deal online. Trading environment in China is such that caution is warranted.
2) Like it or not, government remains the authority when it comes to verify the credibility of a person or a company. The official site of the Yiwu government, for instance, has some information on companies in Yiwu that have the right to engage in foreign trade directly. But the web site is in Chinese, so you may need some initial assistance in your search, till you find the person or the company with the necessary language skill to communicate with you. Some college student who can do some leg work for you at this initial stage, for relatively little pay, for instance, may be of help to you. 3) A leading B2B trading website in China is alibaba.com. You may find your contact there. Don't know about trustworthiness.
