A: You can either fly or travel by train. The flight is from Hongqiao airport of Shanghai to Sanxia airport outside Yichang, and flight time is about two hours. Flights may not be daily; should check..The train ride lasts about 28 hours; need to get a berth - soft berth being nicer than hard berth. Beware also the cruises can be down stream and upstream.
