Answer to One China Travel Question

Q: Is Hong Kong a prime destination during the Oct 1 week long holiday.

A: Mainland Chinese have an extended holiday for the National Day, October 1, at which time many people go on trips, which result in considerable crowding of tour destinations. This does not seem to affect Hong Kong though.
