Q: What were the names of the two peasents that dug up the terra cotta soldiers?
A: A peasants from a village nearby, who were digging a well at the time, made the discovery of the First Emperor's Terra Cotta Warriors. Of the nine peasants, five have since passed away. Of the four still living, Yang Zhifa and Yang Xinman are the better known. Yang Zhifa was the peasant who was on hand when Bill Clinton visited the site a few years ago.
