Q: Does my medicine have to be in the original bottles or can I mix all my medicine in one bottle? Thanks

A: In China there is no legal requirement for you to keep your medicine in separate and labeled bottles. In fact, it is only recently that the Chinese government made the distinction between prescriptioned and over-counter drugs. It seem a good idea, however, to clearly mark your medicine as you travel, especially if you have some for emergency use, so that the local doctors, if their assistance is needed, can determine what they are. The most useful medicine would be those for diarrhea and sore throat.
