Q: I have to go from Hong Kong International Airport to Shenzhen. Please let me know the bus, fare and visa requirement at Shenzhen entry.
A: There are coach services between Hong Kong International Airport and the city of Shenzhen, which you should be able to find upon your arrival. The bus ride lasts approximately one hour forty minutes costs about Hong Kong $180. While citizens of most countries can enter Hong Kong and stay there for a certain period of time without visa, you need a visa to enter China proper, Shenzhen included. You can apply for a China visa at the closest Chinese diplomatic or consular office in your country; you can also apply for the visa after you arrive in Hong Kong; you may get the visa on the same day you use the rush service. Of course you'll feel more comfortable if you get the visa to enter China before hand.
