Q: I would like to know how far from shenzhen is xiamen. And how to go to xiamen if iam in shenzhen? Is it by bus, train or by air? Thanks and waiting for your reply
A: There is no direct train link between Shenzhen and Xiamen. To travel by train to Xiamen you need to take a bus a train to get to Guangzhou and then depart at Guangzhou East Railway Station. The distance between Shenzhen and Guangzhou is about 140 kiometers (90 miles); train travel time between Guangzhou and Xiamen is about 20 hours (leaving in the afternoon and arrive in the afternoon). There are long distance coach services between Shenzhen an Xiamen. The highway distance between Shenzhen and Xiamen is about 680 kilometers (420 miles). You can also fly from Shenzhen to Xiamen. Flight time is about an hour.
