Q: I'm from the Philippines. I'm planning to visit Hong kong on September. do i need to get a travel visa to visit hong kong for 10 days? What else should i need?

A: Citizens of the Philippines can stay in Hong Kong visa free up to 14 days. If your stay is longer than that, you need to have a visa. You may apply for your visa through the Chinese diplomatic/consular office closest to you, or you may apply through Hong Kong's Immigration Department. A traveler is expected to have enough funds to finance his stay in Hong Kong wihtout working, and he should have onward or return flight tickets.
