Q: From Pudong Airport how much will taxi cost me to Yiwu?

A: The distance between Pudong Airport outside Shanghai and Yiwu is roughly 350 kilometers (210 miles). It is generally considered too a long distance to travel between these two places by taxi.

You can go by train or long distance coach from Yiwu. Travel time is about 4 hours.

In Shanghai and the neighboring area, it takes 11 Chinese dollars to hire a cab for the first 3 km; thereafter, 2.1 Chinese dollars for every additional km. You probably can negotiate your price for a out-of-city long distance ride, but there is no certainty what you'll get.

If you must travel in a vehicle exclusively for your own service, there are minivans, etc., for hire, with a driver or/and a guide provided if you prefer. Price will be based on the type of vehicle hired, trip distance, and days of services, etc. It my cost 500 Chinese dollars a day and up.
