A: If you're traveling from Hong Kong into Guangzhou city, the most convenient way would be by train or bus. Travel time between the two cityes is about an hour and forty minutes. It is a short trip and cost should not be a concern. While in most cases travelers can enter Hong Hong without visa, they do need visas to cross border over to China proper. Hong Kong dollar is roughly of the same value as the Chinese dollar, which means about eight Hong Kong dollars for one US dollar.
