Q: I need to know the distance between Bejing and Yiwu. Are there coaches that depart from Bejing airport to Yiwu. What are the schedules to and back from Yiwu? I plan to stay in Yiwu for three days. What kind of coaches are they, delux or normal coach? What about air travel between Yiwu and Beijing?
A: The distance between Beijing and Yiwu is approximately 1,730 km or 1,040 miles. If you travel by coach, it is evidently going to be a rather long trip, which is not be a very comfortable one. It is doubtful that you'll be able to board a long distance bus at Beijing Airport that goes to Yiwu directly. You need to take a shuttle to get into Beijing first. You can travel by train. Travel time would be 25 hours from Beijing to Yiwu. You should get a sleeping berth. You can also fly. Flight time between Beijing and Yiwu is just short of two hours. Cost-wise, train and air travel cost roughly the same; going by coach should be somewhat cheaper.
