Q: I want to know the distances between the following cities and the best way to visit them all: Shenzhen, Wenzhou, Huizhou (Guangdong), and Jinjiang (Fujian). Thank you for your cooperation.
| | A: Of the cities asked about, Huizhou is the closest to Shenzhen. The distance between these two cities is about 120 km. Travel can be by train or coach. Both of these two cities are in Guangdong Province.
Jinjiang, in Fujian Province, is farther out northeast, and the distance between Shenzhen and Jinjiang is approximately 700 km.
Wenzhou, located in Zhejiang Province, is farther out northeast again, and the distance between Shenzhen and Wenzhou is about 1,200 km, by highway. There is no direct train link between Shenzhen and Wenzhou. One can first travel from Shenzhen to Guangzhou (about 100 km) and then travel by train from there to Wenzhou. The train route is the farther way - about 1,600 km - and train travel time lasts about 28 hours.
There are coach services, which make rather long journeys. A coach trip from Shenzhen to Wenzhou lasts about 15hours.
You can fly to all of the places mentioned.
To understand the relative positions of these cities,visualize a line that goes roughly southwest-northeast, which is basically a section of China's coastline. The cities located on this line are respectively Shenzhen > Huizhou > Jinjiang > Wenzhou.
