Answer to One China Travel Question
|
| | Q: Is there a transfer service to major hotels like The Landmark Hotel in Shenzhen (where I am staying) from HK Int airport? What is the cost and can they be booked in advance?
| | A: A number of coach opertors provide bus services that connect the Hong Kong International Airport and Shenzhen. Among them are the Hong Kong branch of China Travel Service - China Travel Service (HK) - and Eternal East Cross-Border Coach Service. Buses operated by Eternal East make stops at various hotels in Shenzhen, although we're not sure if The Lankmark Hotel is on the list. Among those hotels that the EE buses do pick up and drop off travelers are Best Western Shenzhen, Felicity Hotel, Century Plaza Hotel, Novotel Watergate Hotel, Royalty Hotel, Shargri-La Hotel, Hilton ShenZhen Panglin Hotel, Crowne Plaza ShenZhen, Grand Skylight Garden Hotel, Guangdong Hotel, Hotel Oriental Regent, Li Do Hotel, Lushan Hotel, Dong Hua Holiday Inn, and Grand View Hotel. You should contact the coach operators for details. In any event, once you're in Shenzhen, you can always take a taxi to get where you want to go in the city. Travel time between the Hong Kong Intl. Airport and Shenzhen is about an hour. Cost should be around HK $200.
