Q: Could you please let me know which airport is the closest to Yiwu?

A: Yiwu has an airport of its own, Yiwu Airport. It is a small airport, however, and does not have direct international flights. It does hosts flight services to and from major cities of China such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing. Flight time from Guangzhou or Shenzhen to Yiwu is approximately two hours; the same with flights from Beijing to Yiwu.

Among major cities that are closer to Yiwu are Hangzhou and Shanghai. Hangzhou is about two hours' land transportation away from Yiwu. There are some international flights in and out of Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport.

Pudong International Airport outside Shanghai is a major airport in China and many visitors enter China here. This airport is about four to five hours away from Yiwu, by land.

Those foreign visitors who want to travel to Yiwu could, therefore, first make their way to one of these major cities (airports) mentioned above, and then travel on, by flight or by land transportation (bus or train), to Yiwu.
