Q: I plan to go to Shandong after my visit to Hong Kong. Where can I buy the tickets to go to Qingdao airport and what are the requirements.

A: There are direct flights between Hong Kong and Qingdao. They are operated by three airlines, including China Eastern, Dragon Air and Hong Kong Airlines. You may purchase the tickets from trave agencies that serve the area.

You need to have a visa to enter mainland China even if you do not need a visa to visit Hong Kong.

Qingdao international airport is called Liuting airport, which is located 30 km away from central Qingdao.
