Q: I plan to go to Xianju city in Zhejiang area, after my visit in Hong Kong. I would like to ask how could I go there (by air? by train?). Is there an airport in Xianju? Where can I found information for the Hotels in Xianju?

(To view Chinese characters, set "Encoding" on your Internet Explorer to Chinese Simplified) Administratively Xianju is a county, so by “Xianju City” you’re referring to the city that is the urban core of the county and the location of the county government. Xianju City is not located on railway line and does not have an airport. It is connected by highways. One can first travel to a larger city nearby with railway or airline connections and then travel on to Xianju by long distance coach. If, for instance, you choose to travel to Hangzhou City first, which is the provincial capital and has both rail and international air connections, you can board a long distance bus there to travel on to Xianju. Travel time is about four hours. Two other cities smaller but closer to Xianju are Jinhua and Yiwu, which are about 180 km from Xianju (a ride of about two hours). Both of these two cities are on railways and Yiwu also has an airport.
