| | A: Do you mean Danyang in Jiangsu Province? If that's the case, you can go by the order of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Wenzhou, Danyang, and back to Hong Kong, or reverse. You can go by some other orders too, of coruse.
Shenzhen is foty minutes or so away from Hong Kong and can be reached by train or coach.
You can fly from Shenzhen to Wenzhou. If you go coach, it's journey of 1,300 km (800 miles), so that's a long haul and not recommended. If you go by train, you need to go from Shenzhen to Guangzhou first (two hours) and then catch train there. Train travel time from Guangzhou to Wenzhou is over 22 hours. No direct train between Shenzhen and Wenzhou.
There is train services between Wenzhou and Danyang. Travel time is 12 to 14 hours. You can also fly to Shanghai or Nanjing and go from there to Danyang. Danyang is about 200 km from Shanghai and 80 km from Nanjing. This train runs every other day. Train travel time is 18 hours.
Returning, you can travel from Danyang to Shanghai by train or bus in two to three hours, and then fly from Shanghai, or travel by train from Shanghai, back to Hong Kong. There is express train service from Shanghai to Hong Kong. Alternatively, you can go from Danyang to Nanjing, and the fly from Nanjing to Hong Kong. Danyang is about 80 km from Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
However you travel, you need to plan ahead. Train tickets, especially those for sleeping berths, may not be readily available. You do not get stuck somewhere on your way.
