Q: What is the best way to travel from HONG KONG - SHENZHEN - GUANGZHOU - MACAU or any recommendation to arrange a plan to travel within this few places?
| | A: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Macau are relatively close to one another. Basic means of transportation would be coaches and trains. From Hong Kong to Shenzhen, which is just across border, you can take a bus or train; travel time is short of one hour. From Shenzhen to Guangzhou travel time is a little over an hour. From Guangzhou to Macau you take a coach to go to Zhuhai first (Gongbei Border Cross); travel time is about two hours thirty minutes. From there you enter Macau. Between Macau and Hong Kong there are ferries. If you take the Turbo Jet to go from Macau to Hong Kong, travel time is just an hour or so. There are slower ferries.
There are of course other ways to travel among the cities mentioned above.
Make sure you have the necessary visas for Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China. Citizens of some countries can visit Hong Kong and Macau without visa. This does not apply to mainland China. In fact, even if you have visa to enter Hong Kong or Macau, you still need a separate visa to enter Mainland China. If you enter Mainland China a couple of times (for example, Hong Kong - Mainland China - Macau - Mainalnd China), you need multiple-entry visa.
