Many factors figure in the determination of tour prices: destinations, sites, class of hotel, class of ship and cabin on a cruise, meal arrangements, number of tourists, means of local transportation, entertainment activities such as shows and dinners, so on and so forth. In addition to all these, there is one element that is the most difficult to define and quantify, and that is the quality of the tour. It is extremely important, of course, that one feels comfortable and at east throughout his or her tour, and this means that price should not be the only criterion in selecting a tour.
